Sip, Sculpt and Snack evening at Flower Power 🌸

Come and join us at Flower Power in Tralee for an evening event of clay, wine and delicious veggie snacks!

In this 2 hour session, you will get to learn the basics of some hand building pottery techniques by making your own nibble serving dish, and a decorative Christmas tree.

Hand building allows you to create pottery with the most primitive tools we have, our own hands! You’ll be surprised at what you can produce over the evening with some guidance and determination.

On arrival, you'll be greeted with a glass of wine of your choice, the we'll guide you through forming and carving out your clay platter in the first part of the evening. We'll break for some tasty snacks before using the off cuts of clay to make a simple tree shape. 

We'll take your pieces to our studio to dry completely before firing. You'll be given a choice of 2 glaze types that we'll apply to your dish.

We recommend wearing casual, comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty (clay can be messy!) You can also bring an apron if you wish.

Suitable for any skill level with an interest in learning basic ceramic skills. You don't have to have ever worked with clay before.
